Paule Barbeau is originally from Quebec, Canada. She lived in the southeastern US for some 16 years before coming to Duluth. She has a graduate degree in Theology (Scripture) as well as training as a chaplain. She leads a bible study group as well as theology, spiritual, and prayer groups for our cluster of parishes. She is also developing new aspects to our social outreach ministry and coordinates the homebound ministry. Paule enjoys sharing her faith with others and helping others discern how God is acting in their lives.

Social Outreach
Homebound Ministry – Lay individuals who are commissioned as Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers to bring Holy Communion on a regular basis to one or more individuals who are homebound.
Stitch and Pray – Group that meets monthly for prayer and faith sharing while knitting and crocheting prayer shawls, hats for newborns, etc. Other crafts such as quilting are also welcome. ST. LAWRENCE ONE SATURDAY/MONTH 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Warm Hearts Project – Parishioners and others in the Duluth community donate new and gently used hats, scarves, and mittens/gloves from November through January. Help is needed to make kits of one hat/scarf/pair of mittens or gloves to be placed in Duluth police squad cars. Kits are handed out by police officers to individuals they encounter on the street when they see a need.
Adult Faith Formation – Fall and Spring
Theologia – Weekly faith discussions around books that tend to be more theologically oriented (ex. The Screwtape Letters, The Jesuit Guide to Almost Everything, Fully Human Fully Divine) ST. LAWRENCE MONDAYS 7:00-8:30 pm
Anam Cara – Weekly faith discussion around books that tend to be more spiritually/social justice oriented (ex. Love Unknown, The Jesuit Guide to Almost Everything, Tattoos on the Heart) ST. LAWRENCE WEDNESDAYS 9:30 -11:00 am
Faith Circle – Weekly faith discussion around religious videos (ex. Saints, Holy places, forgiveness, blessing) HOLY FAMILY WEDNESDAYS 6:00-7:00 pm
Bible Study – Weekly discussion around a biblical theme (ex. Mary, Psalms, The Bible Timeline) ST. LAWRENCE THURSDAYS 9:30-11:30 am
Prayer Circle – Weekly prayer group that uses mostly lectio divina and faith sharing to reflect on the Sunday readings ST. LAWRENCE SUNDAYS 9:30-10:40 am
